Los Angeles of 4'33'' intend to use book as a form to visualize silence in sounds. The cover consisted of six translucent pages, layered on top of each other which reflects the simultaneous noise and silence that happen in the city. The format was inspired by John Cage's music piece 4'33'' where the performers do not play an instrument during the entire piece. The silence of the instrument and the sounds of the environment become the content of the piece. The book also records my personal experiences in Los Angeles as an individual voice in the city.
